STEEL STRUCTURES IN SEISMIC AREA: Research and applications at University of Naples Federico II
The research group on steel structures of University of Naples Federico II is actively involved in several (both national and international) research projects in the field of seismic design and assessment. The whole research activity is strongly oriented to improve seismic codes (both in Italy and in Europe) and to provide design aids and innovative solutions for both practitioners and market of steel constructions. This seminar provides some highlights of the recent research findings.

Raffaele LANDOLFO, PhD, 是意大利那不勒斯菲德里克第二大學(xué)教授，結(jié)構(gòu)工程系主任。主要從事鋼結(jié)構(gòu)和組合結(jié)構(gòu)的研究，目前主持多項(xiàng)意大利國(guó)家及歐盟合作科研項(xiàng)目。曾任European Convention for Constructional Steelwork (ECCS)主席，現(xiàn)任TC 13 Seismic Design委員會(huì)主席和Steel and Composite Structures within CEN/TC250/SC8工作組召集人。他是歐盟 Erasmus Mundus "Sustainable Constructions under Natural Hazards and Catastrophic Events "研究生計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目的負(fù)責(zé)人。
